JAMIE & AARON
Jamie and Aaron Ivey live in Austin, Texas where they parent four kids and do their best at changing the world from right where they are. Jamie Ivey hosts the podcast, The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey, has written some books and will stop anything for some 90’s hip hop. Aaron Ivey is a pastor and songwriter, has written some books, and loves spending time cooking in the kitchen. They both believe that stories have such a huge impact on the world and are honored to share the stories from On the Other Side with you.

JAMIE
Jamie is a podcaster, author, and speaker from Austin, Texas. She and her husband Aaron are parents to four kids, three of them being teenagers, so they are primarily Uber drivers. Jamie loves to encourage women to love Jesus with all of their heart, soul, and mind. She believes stories change the world and reveals this through her popular podcast, The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey. She also shares her own story through her bestselling book “If You Only Knew: My Unlikely, Unavoidable Story of Becoming Free.” Her newest book “You Be You: Why Satisfaction and Success Are Closer Than You Think”, Jamie insists that living faithfully in the here and now is the key to an abundant life. .Aaron Ivey is the Pastor of Worship + Creativity at The Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, Texas, where he pastors a church of 8,000 people in the heart of the city. With a passion for living out God’s Word, an empathy for God’s people, and an abiding love for the local church, Aaron is challenging the Church to worship God in spirit and truth and to marry song with service.
Overseeing Austin Stone Worship, Aaron leads a team of nearly 300 worship leaders, artists, storytellers, and musicians. With fifteen years of full-time ministry experience, Aaron knows both the tension and thrills that come with serving the local church. As a father to four children, three of whom are adopted, he also has insight into leading a multi-cultural family. Aaron is frequently invited to speak at and lead worship for events, churches, and live music shows. As an outspoken advocate for justice and mission, Aaron Ivey intertwines storytelling into every part of his ministry, whether he is performing, leading, mentoring, or writing.
Aaron Ivey co-authored Steal Away Home, a historical fiction novel about Charles Spurgeon, released by B&H in 2017. Aaron has written and produced Austin Stone Worship albums, and he works as a writer with Capital Music
