WHAT YOU WILL HEAR
For several years, Todd Tilghman felt a calling for something different in his life. He and his wife, Brooke, weren’t sure what it was but they knew that Christ placed this desire on him for a reason. After a series of events, road trips, and sleeping in cars, Todd ended up auditioning for The Voice. The journey was a whirlwind and much to their surprise, he won the competition. This is Todd and Brooke’s story of being on the other side of The Voice.
In today’s episode, Todd and Brooke share about life before and after his audition. They are originally from Mississippi, pastored a church for years and have 8 children! Although so much of their life has changed, they still feel that they are the same people they always were and are so blessed to do ministry in an unexpected way. We love when they say, “You have to switch to being Kingdom-minded, and ministry doesn’t only happen behind a pulpit.” Y’all. Their story was such a joy to hear about and you’ll walk away feeling encouraged that Jesus can use you anywhere.
