During the 2016 election, Dave and Erin Leaverton felt burdened by the lack of unity in our country. What used to be political disagreements turned into political violence. This burden sparked prayer and fasting that led to their decision to travel across all 50 states in an RV, asking the question “what is the root cause of division?” This is Dave and Erin’s story of being on the other side of division.

In this episode, Dave and Erin dive into their journey of selling their home, quitting their jobs, and taking their family around the entire country – inviting people to share their stories and figuring out how it got this way. It was a time of learning to listen, be humble, and take themselves out of the center. They say “If this is a country, that’s just the land of the free, the home of the brave Liberty and justice for all, for some, then it’s not Liberty and justice for all.” This is a beautiful story of two Christ-followers coming forward with humility, not with the intention to “fix” but to listen.
